Ensure power is turned on by checking the power indicator light is green.
Ensure that all cables are firmly in place from the computer to the modem.
To ensure you are receiving maximum signal strength to your modem, change the position of the modem until the signal light becomes steady(signal bars).
The same applies for Indoor modem but instead of light indicators, the signal bar will show an increase in bar status as signal improves.
Where as if the modem are not receiving a signal the indicator will continue to run.
